As Lotura Psychology Practice’s Group Therapy Specialist, Dr. Halpern leads dynamic, insight-oriented therapy groups designed to foster emotional growth, deepen self-awareness, and strengthen interpersonal connections.
She also has extensive training in perinatal mental health, with clinical and research experience supporting individuals and families during pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, and perinatal loss. Her work includes dyadic (parent-infant) therapy to strengthen emotional attunement and early attachment.
Dr. Halpern is affirming of all gender identities, sexual orientations, and family structures, and welcomes clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Dr. Halpern has conducted research focused on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) and mentalization. She is trained in the Adult Attachment Interview and completed the Advanced Training in Psychotherapy through Postpartum Support International. She is currently pursuing Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C).

Dr. Jennifer Halpern is a clinical psychologist with advanced training in individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy. She specializes in relational work with adults and adolescents navigating mood instability, interpersonal conflict, emotion regulation challenges, and complex trauma. She brings particular expertise to working with clients experiencing symptoms related to Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and those seeking to build more stable, fulfilling relationships.
