Min Souther, PhD

Dr. Min Souther is a warm, thoughtful, and highly trained psychologist who brings deep clinical expertise and a collaborative spirit to therapy.

She has extensive experience supporting individuals and couples as they navigate health anxiety, the pressures of high achievement, self-doubt, perfectionism, and imposter syndrome. Dr. Souther integrates evidence-based treatments, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

CBT for Health Anxiety

Dr. Souther has advanced training in CBT for health anxiety and helps clients break the cycle of worry and reassurance-seeking. She teaches practical tools to challenge unhelpful thoughts, manage uncertainty, and rebuild trust in the body.

CBT for Trauma

Dr. Souther also provides CBT for trauma to help individuals process and heal from distressing experiences. Through targeted strategies, she works with clients to shift unhelpful thought patterns, build effective coping skills, and reduce symptoms like anxiety, avoidance, and intrusive memories.

EFT for Couples

Dr. Souther is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a research-backed model for couples therapy. She helps partners recognize and transform negative interaction patterns, strengthen emotional connection, and build a more secure, supportive bond.
